The best cameras under 50000 rubles for taking photos and videos

Within the allotted budget, I selected 3 options for cameras and lenses. If I forgot to mention something or you have a different opinion, then write about it below in the comments.

I advise you not to buy cameras with simple kit (standard) lenses, they only demonstrate the proper operation of the camera and you can’t expect creativity with a special picture from them (an exception may be, perhaps, the fujifilm 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6, which will be discussed below. By According to the owners' reviews, it is really good). It's like a good player with cheap headphones included. They do not reveal the full potential of the device. The manufacturer does this so that the total cost of the kit is not high enough. But if we are talking, for example, about Apple, then they don’t care about this and therefore the set includes excellent, but not cheap, headphones. In addition, lenses are more complex and varied than headphones :) Each of them has its own properties and tasks. In this selection, I will rely on my experience and taste in choosing lenses. I like the combination of wide-angle + portrait. I don’t photograph all sorts of birds at a great distance, so there are no telephotos in the selection. I like to photograph people, interiors, sometimes objects, and generally be in the midst of events while filming. It would be ideal to know in advance which focal lengths you like. If you are interested in how you can find out, then write about it in the comments to this post.

In the meantime, I will show here what we managed to select within the framework of our task.

All three options have their own characteristics and here you need to look at what is closer to you.

"Workhorse"

Canon 200D + Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM + Canon 50mm f/1.8 EF STM

Without pathos, only productivity and completion of assigned tasks. Well suited when the budget is limited, but you need to get a good result that will satisfy the client. This stage can be taken and easily filmed at weddings. Just right for work

"Mirrorless Fujifilm"

Fujifilm X-A7 + fujifilm 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 + fujifilm 35mm f2 xc

DSLR cameras are gradually becoming extinct. This is what determines the availability of DSLRs on the secondary market. They are being replaced without a DSLR camera.

Although the camera we talked about above is a SLR, it is not old (2017), it is the technology of SLR cameras that is gradually aging. You can still shoot great with the Canon 200D.

Fujifilm has excellent design and picture quality. Particularly interesting will be the Fujifilm branded color for the film. At this point, please, it is better not to read further, but to watch videos about this on YouTube. Fuji can also shoot close-up objects very sharply by stitching multiple frames together, thereby increasing the depth of field.

Fuji cameras are for very creative people who are ready to take their compact, stylish, modern camera everywhere and produce excellent quality! Fuji also has apps for your phone and there are a lot of different modern goodies there. Fuji cameras are like an iPhone, they are even just nice to hold in your hands.

I especially want to point out that the 35mm f2 XC is very inexpensive for its image quality.

"Full Frame"

Full-frame cameras are generally a separate class. A lot can be said here, but I think you know the theory. They have a special plastic image and you can achieve a shallow depth of field compared to crop. Dynamic range and more. You just need to try it and then you will feel it. But full-frame cameras in this price range are no longer new or very modern. For example, Canon 5D mark II, Nikon D610. But these models are no longer produced and were often used for photographing weddings. They may already be dead, but they are tenacious. For me, they are inferior in quality to Fuji and the Canon 200D also seems to me to be inferior. But if you want to try and touch Full Frame, then you can pay attention to Nikon D700, it can still get hot, but you’ll have to pump yourself up, the camera and lens weigh quite a bit. You won’t carry something like that with you in between, and full-frame lenses aren’t cheap. Cameras lose value faster than optics. The optics can also be used on new cameras.

Overall: it seems to me that the modern solution would be to choose Fuji. Canon 200D is also a very good option.
