10 qualities of a professional photographer

We know how important it is for you, dear clients, that the photographer and videographer is not only technically savvy, but also a person with whom it is pleasant to work.

After all, you are letting him into your comfort zone. For example, for an event in which not everything may go smoothly. Confusing situations may occur. 

Or perhaps this is your first time being filmed on camera and it’s not easy to act naturally. For example, take the right posture or speak confidently and clearly into the microphone. Even after shooting, you may be overcome by anxiety, because the person with the camera has recorded your weaknesses and mistakes. I don’t want this information to leak out somewhere later.

Therefore, we have compiled a rating of 10 qualities that a photographer and videographer should have:

• Have a sense of taste. Have a good understanding of the basics of composition. See the frame.
• Understand the technical components of the camera, be able to work with light: natural, flash, video light, and of course have the necessary lavalier microphones.

• Be a comfortable person with whom you can relax and behave naturally.
• Be able to manage the situation. The photographer should not stand on the sidelines; his task is to get the highest quality shot. To do this, he must firmly but politely move others and take the best place for shooting. 
• Sociable. For a good shot, he knows how to come to an agreement with people, somewhere to bring out their emotions. However, one should not confuse a photographer with a toastmaster and a clown; having fun is not his main goal. He also always answers messages and doesn’t go underwater.

• Reliable. All information collected for you remains confidential. It will not become available on the Internet without your approval. 
• Stress-resistant. Be able to react quickly in changing circumstances. Has it rained? The bride is crying, etc.
• Hardy. It will bring a quality shooting day to the end even with severe fatigue and in different shooting conditions: in the cold, in the heat, in polluted factories, in a noisy place.
• Organized and punctual. He will arrive on time for the shoot and charge all devices the day before. Properly preserves the footage in multiple copies. Will deliver the materials within the specified time frame.
• Responsible. This is probably the main quality that unites all the others. A photographer should treat photography as his job. Despite the fact that he is a creative person, he must do not only the work that he likes, but also sometimes do routine tasks or transfer them to an assistant and control its implementation. 

This is just a certain set of qualities of a photographer and videographer. 

When filming takes place in another country, it is especially useful when the photographer speaks the language of that country, then he can also act as a translator.
