Sea and beach in South China

Today I’ll tell you about a beach not far from Hong Kong in the city of Shenzhen.大梅沙海滨公园 Dameisha Beach. This is a small resort town in the south of China. According to mom:

this is the place where silent angels play their games

There are many visiting Chinese tourists here, just like everywhere else in China. Everyone is quite calm, friendly, taking pictures, whispering “laowai, laowai”, translated as a foreigner but in a more familiar form. It seems that foreigners are a novelty for them. This is quite predictable for China. You just need to be prepared for this in advance, understand and forgive.

To get to the public beach, you must buy a ticket. We never found out the cost, since laowai (foreigners) are allowed in for free. This moment was a pleasant surprise.

By the way, when you approach your destination, you will easily guess when you see the tower, we called it Mini Dubai.

Outlet in China

Nearby there is a cozy Outlet area, pleasant European music is playing, you will immediately feel the fragrant aroma of foliage, the atmosphere is inviting. Many popular fast food cafes, we often had dinner at Pizza Hot. Famous brands are also on this street. But it seems that the Chinese themselves are in no particular hurry to shop on their territory, so the park is quite empty.

Shopping at the Outlet

There we bought several pairs of sneakers at Belle, Levi's T-shirts and, in general, that was the end of our shopping.

How to get there?

If you are planning a route directly from Hong Kong Airport, take bus A 43 from Terminal 1 to the Sheung Shui stop, from there transfer to bus 44 A, it will take you to the border with Shenzhen. The border is not popular among tourists, so there are not many people.

If you go back to Hong Kong airport, then take the border bus to the Fanling stop, the cost is 33 HK$ or gambi, from the same stop take the A43 32 HK$ to the airport

After you cross the border from the nearest stop 三家店 you get to 海濱浴場1 or another stop closest to your hotel. Buses M520 M437 387 and others.

From Guangzhou we took a high-speed train 高铁 to 深圳北。 from 深圳北 via WeChat taxi we called a taxi, which cost us 150 元, the ride was about an hour.

Have a nice weekend, dear readers.
