My first short film “Home”, shot in Istanbul

This project became special for me as a videographer and photographer. For the first time, I stepped not only behind the camera, but also into the frame — as the lead character.
It gave me a new perspective and helped me better understand what people feel in front of the lens.

“Home” is a story about the search for where we belong.
We all go through moments of feeling lost, unsure where we truly fit in.
Through visuals, the mood of Istanbul, and honest emotions, I tried to capture that feeling.

Filming in such a dynamic city was a challenge — but also the perfect place to tell this story. The streets, metro, water, and light of Istanbul became part of the narrative.

This short film allowed me to explore a new role and step outside my comfort zone.
I hope viewers will connect with the emotional journey behind this film.
